Theresa T. Rogers

Theresa T. Rogers, 84, of Landis Homes Retirement Community, Lititz, passed away May 12, 2021, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Ronald C. Rogers.

Born October 15, 1936 in Whitehall (Hokendaqua), PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Krivensky) Tomasic.

Theresa was a 1954 graduate of Whitehall High School and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Albright College in 1986.

She was employed as an accounting manager by First Energy, Reading, PA for more than 25 years.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading, PA.

Theresa will be remembered for her love of family and dry sense of humor. She enjoyed playing golf and skiing. Theresa will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters: Stephanie A., wife of Dr. George Connerton, Lititz and Sara E., wife of Dr. Roderick Sawyer, Fishers, IN. Four grandchildren: Steven Connerton and Samantha (Scott) Zimmerman, and Matthew and Lauren Sawyer; one great-grandson, Jacob Zimmerman; one sister Margaret Horwath; two brothers, John and George and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, also survive her.

Theresa was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Lynn Rogers; two sisters Mary Hobel, Elizabeth Millen, and three brothers, Michael, Andrew and Joseph.

Services will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611 with inurnment to follow at Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church at 336 Franklin Street, West Reading, PA. 19611.
