Theresa C. Sockel

Theresa C. Sockel, 76, of Exeter Township, died October 8, 2011 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of William G. Sockel, whom she married on April 25, 1959.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Constantine and Antoinette Szczepanski.

She was employed by David Crystal for over 25 years, retiring in 1976.

Theresa was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, Mt. Penn and the Reiffton Fire Company.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 17 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

Theresa was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Twp. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.
