Theresa D. Sharer

Theresa D. (Lauria) Sharer, 91, of Wyomissing, passed away May 10, 2026. at Laurel Pointe Senior Living.

She was the widow of Francis S. Sharer.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Victor C. and Mary C. (Marconi) Lauria.

She is survived by two children, Michael Victor, husband of Julia (Polyak) Sharer, Wyomissing and Lisa Mary, wife of Eric Hastings, Greenville, South Carolina; three grandchildren: Mattherw Francis Sharer, Helen Victoria Sharer, and Victor Wolfgang Hastings; and one sister, Carol Nichols.

Theresa was predeceased by her brother, Victor J. Lauria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 237 Franklin Street, Reading, PA.19602. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in the church.
