Theresa M. Gordner

Theresa M. (Sheehan) Gordner, 80, formerly of Temple, died September 18, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Charles Wilmer Gordner who died May 9, 2009.

Born May 5, 1930 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary E. (Leightham) Sheehan.

Theresa was employed in the finishing room at Temple Apparel for a number of years, Talbots and Ludens Candy.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed.

Surviving are her son, Marty, husband of Eileen L. (Nertavich) Gordner of Maidencreek Township and her daughter, Debra A. (Gordner), wife of Mike W. Steffey of Bern Township.

Other survivors include three brothers, Robert Sheehan of Cape May, NJ; William Sheehan of Exeter Township and John Sheehan of California.

There are also two grandchildren surviving, Tucker B. Gordner and Julie M. Steffey.

Theresa was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Sheehan.

Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. in Laureldale Cemetery's Chapel, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
