Theresa C. Hehn

Theresa Catherine (Boulanger) Hehn, 89, of Reading, died February 20, 2009 at 10:00 pm in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been a patient since November.

She was married September 28, 1940 to the late Robert Joseph Hehn, who died May 9, 1980,

Born in Reading on November 22, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Stefan Boulanger and Theresia (Sommer) Boulanger-Kuhn.

She was a 1935 graduate of St. Paul's Parochial Business School and a 1946 graduate of Bryland Beauty School, Reading.

Theresa was employed a number of years as a secretary with Penn Cigar Sales, Reading.

She also owned a home beauty shop from 1947 to 1976. Theresa last worked for the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading from 1953 until retiring in 2000.

She was a life long member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Theresa is survived by a daughter, Theresa C. (Hehn) wife of James M. Eaman of Spring Township.

Other survivors include three granddaughters: Theresa R. Eaman of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mary C. Armstrong of Collingswood, New Jersey and Elizabeth A. wife of Paul D. Clark of Limerick, Montgomery County.

There are also two great grandsons: Michael J. Ward and Christopher J. Ward, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She was predeceased by four siblings: Frank Boulanger, Stefan Boulanger, Kathryn Koch and Mary McCaffery.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 151 North 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601. A viewing will be held Thursday 8:30 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
