Theresa L. Decarlo

Theresa L. DeCarlo, 100, formerly of West Reading, died March 15, 2015, in Mifflin Center.

Her husband, Emilio DeCarlo, died December 31, 2002.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Papanno) Capozello.

Theresa was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Victor Emmanuel II Society.

Affectionately known at Mom to all, she worked alongside her son Daniel for 40 years at the By-Bar, Reading.

She dedicated her life to her family and her work.

Theresa is survived by her son, Daniel, husband of Patricia (Ciervo) DeCarlo, Boca Raton, FL. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Deborah, Diane, Susan, Daniel, Valerie and Frank; and eight great grandchildren, Stephen, Marisa, Jacqueline, Rocco, Emilio, Gianna, Ava and Isabella.

She was predeceased by her son; Frank E. DeCarlo, who died in March 1998; and five brothers, Pietro, Rocco, Lawrence, John, and Joseph Capozello.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 237 Franklin Street, Reading, PA 19602 with a viewing from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the church.
