Theodore R. Mury

Theodore R. Mury, 89, formerly of Wyomissing, died Jan. 6 in Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst, Ill.

His wife, Jeannette H. (Henry) Mury, died in 2001.

Born in Irvington, N.J., he was a son of the late Eugene and Elizabeth (Ballard) Mury.

Mury was employed for more than 30 years by Firestone Plastics Corp., Pottstown, retiring as a senior scheduler.

He was a 1934 graduate of Irvington High School and a 1938 graduate of Albright College.

Mury was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth M. (Mury) Meyer, Lake Villa, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
