Theodore Joseph Falkiewicz, 90, died February 6, 2013 in Rittenhouse Senior Living, Muhlenberg Township.
He was the husband of Florence Theodora Napiecek who died on August, 7th 1992.
Born July 4, 1922 in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter and Stella (Kompa) Falkiewicz.
Theodore attended Reading High School
He was employed as a tool setter and layout operator with Western Electric for 27 years, retiring in 1985.
Theodore was a member of Holy Guardian Angel's R.C. Church, Hyde Park.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he played a role in capturing The Bridge at Remagen.
Theodore was an avid Phillie's fan and enjoyed fishing and boating as well as traveling.
Surviving are his two sons: Thomas T., husband of Judith T. Falk of Muhlenberg Township; Richard D., husband of Juliana Falkiewicz of Liverpool, NY.
Other survivors include a brother, Stanley, husband of Sophie Falkiewicz of Shillington; sister-in-law, Ruth Falkiewicz of Shillington; four grandsons and four great granddaughters.
Theodore was predeceased by a brother, Leon Falkiewicz and a sister, Eleanor Falkiewicz.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading.
