Thelma M. Schmehl

Thelma M. Schmehl, 91 formerly of Exeter Township died October 15th, in the Mifflin Center, Shillington. She was the widow of Elmer E. Schmehl who died June 20, 1982. Thelma was born in Ontelaunee Township and was the daughter of the late William and Carrie (Matthews) DeLancey. Thelma is survived by 3 daughters: Donna M. widow of John Swanger, Shillington, Linda L. wife of Robert Saylor, Exeter Township, and Nancy L. wife of Eugene Taylor, Wilmington, DE and 1 son Dennis E. Schmehl of Laureldale. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, 1 sister, Geraldine Fox, Millsboro, DE. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Schmehl on January 30, 1971 and a grandson, Brian Martin. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Epler's Cemetery.
