Thelma O. Bauer

Thelma Olga "Sweety" (Morganti) Bauer, 68, of 1310 Mount Laurel Road, (Muhlenberg Township), Temple, Pa 19560, died May 9th in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township where she had been since April 30th.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Olga T. (Spinka) Morganti.

She was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading.

Bauer worked for her father for over 20 years as a picker and packer at Spring Crest Mushroom Plants, Alsace Township and Temple and later for 12 years at Camsco Packing Company, Evansville until her retirement in 1985.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Bauer is survived by a sister, Rose Marie (Morganti) Buchert of Temple.

She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann (Morganti) Kalin who died in 1972.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewing Wednesday 8:30 - 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
