Thelma M. Gorman

Thelma M. "Dolly" Gorman, 91, formerly of Reading, died November 2, 2011 in the Golden Living Center, Exeter.

Her husband, Robert C. Gorman, passed away October 2, 1956.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elnora (Meiley) Brubaker.

Thelma worked at The Abraham Lincoln Hotel and retired from Luden's, Inc.

She is survived by her three children: Robert E., husband of Karen Gorman, MD; Charles C., husband of Donna Gorman, Bernville and Christopher, husband of Susan Owens, Media. Also surviving are her brother, Paul, husband of Helen Brubaker, Landisville and five grandchildren.

Thelma was predeceased by her brother, Earl Brubaker in 1984.

A Prayer Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Gethsemane Cemetery.
