Thaddeus F. Szydlowski

Thaddeus Francis Szydlowski, 89, of Shillington Borough, died August 23, 2009 in Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was married November 25, 1945 to Leona Lawreen (Jurewicz) Szydlowski.

Born in Reading, PA on March 28, 1920, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary Ann (Niemczyk) Szydlowski.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Thaddeus was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School.

He was an auto machinist with Car Parts, Reading for 29 years.

Thaddeus was an Army Air Corps Veteran.

He is also survived by a son, Dr. Thaddeus R., husband of Susan M. (Mathews) Szydlowski of Cornwall Borough, Lebanon County.

Other survivors include two granddaughters: Dr. Kristen A. Szydlowski of Barrington, New Jersey and Dr. Ellen G. Szydlowski of Rochester, New York.

He was predeceased by three brothers: Frank, Stanley and Joseph.

Prayer Services were held privately. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
