Terrence William Swavely, 63, died November 2, 2009 in his Maidencreek Township residence.

He was the husband of Carol Ann (Lonaberger) Swavely whom he married July 3, 1965.

Born December 17, 1945 in West Reading, he was a son of Elaine S. (Haag) Fetter of Muhlenberg Township and the late William T. Swavely.

Terrence was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School.

He was employed for 44 years with Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products, formerly Polymer Corportation, Northmont.

Terrence was a member of Fleetwood Bible Church.

He enjoyed going to Ocean City, NJ, planes, cars and the outdoors.

Also surviving are four children: Kevin William Swavely of Richmond Township; Kelly Ann (Swavely) Schlegel of Fleetwood; Keith Terrence, husband of Emily (Tallman) Swavely of Anaheim, CA; and Karen Carol (Swavely), wife of Daniel Billger of Blandon.

Other survivors include a half-brother, Randy Fetter of Muhlenberg Township; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Terrence was predeceased by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Megan Swavely, who died October, 1986 and a sister, Cheryl E. (Swavely) Brown, who died March, 1999.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 15th at 6 p.m. in Fleetwood Bible Church, 2847 Moselem Springs Road, Fleetwood, 19522. Burial will be private in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
