Tanya Jean Vogels

Tanya Jean (Mathias) Vogels, 39, of Douglass Township, Montgomery County, died January 29, 2014 in the Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Pottstown Hospital on May 2, 1975, she was a daughter of Todd W., husband of Patricia Mathias of Bally and Cynthia L. (Kline), wife of David P. Bortz of Oley.

She was a graduate of Boyertown High School.

Tanya was last employed as a waitress with the Americana Restaurant, Bechtelsville.

She is also survived by three children: Kristen M. Vogels of Boyertown, Hunter I. Vogels of Gilbertsville and Kai J. Bell of Boyertown.

Other survivors include three siblings: Tara R. Mathias, Trisha L. Moser and Stephanie Mathias.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
