Tamako Reinert

Tamako Reinert, 76, Cumru Township, died June 20 in the residence of her son, David P. Reinert, Cumru Township. Her husband, Paul V. Reinert, died Feb. 18, 1967.

Born in Osaka, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Kiji and Masa Tanaka.

Reinert was employed as a seamstress by Dolfin International, Shillington, retiring in 1996.

She also is survived by a daughter, Karen (Reinert) Manning, Oley.

Other survivors include a brother, Osuma Tanaka, and a sister, Setuko Tanaka, both of Osaka.

There also are a grandson, Evan Manning, and a granddaughter, Tia Manning; and two stepgrandsons, Matthew Heckler and Christopher Heckler.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Viewing Friday 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. Contributions may be made to American-Japanese Alumni, 118 Whispering Pines Lane, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
