Sylvia Kathryn Lash

Sylvia Kathryn (Monde) Lash, 83, of Exeter Township, passed away October 17, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Norman E. Lash, died on October 9, 1986.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Roy G. and Alice E. (Drexler) Monde.

Until her retirement, she was employed by Caron Foundation as an executive secretary.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Sylvia will be remembered for many things, including her pride, joy and devotion to her family and her love for the Philadelphia Phillies.

She is survived by five children: Scott E., widower of Sharron L. Lash; Wayne E. (deceased), husband of Theresa M. Lash; Roxanne E., wife of Daniel A. Deeds; Brian E. husband of Melisa Lash and Clark E., husband of Tracy L. Lash. Three siblings: Rosalie, wife of Alfred Correnti; Geraldine, widow of Richard Hunter and Alice Winzer; two sisters-in-law, Pauline, widow of Roy Monde, Jr. and Gloria, widow of Gerald Monde; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
