Sylvester Samuel Bordner

Sylvester Samuel Bordner, 85, of Hamburg, passed away September 4, 2021, in the St. Joseph Hospital.

Born in Tilden Township, he was a son of the late Samuel Thomas and Dorothy Emma (Miller) Bordner-Oswalt.

Sylvester was employed by C-S Metals Services, Inc, and Clendenin Brothers INC. Dock 5, Baltimore, MD as a truck driver.

He enjoyed horse races and watching western movies. Sylvester was also an avid Pirates baseball fan.

Sylvester is survived by two siblings, Edwina C., wife of Edwin Eroh, Hamburg and Roy A., husband of Lorna Oswalt, Shoemakersville; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Helen Bailey.
