Suzanne T. Strohecker

Suzanne T. (Horney) Strohecker, 64, of West Law, passed away Saturday, July 04, 2009 at the Reading Hospital.

She was born on October 21 in Lebanon to the late John M. and Sarah R. (Yake) Horney.

Ms. Strohecker graduated from Lebanon Catholic high school in 1962. She then went to St. Joe's Nursing School and graduated in 1965 as a registered nurse.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel S. Strohecker and his wife Christi of Reading and Andrew P. Strohecker of West Lawn four daughters, Deborah L. Master and her husband Andrew of NY, Melissa Strohecker-Smith and her husband David of Reading, Jeanette M. Moyer and her husband Scott of Flying Hills, and Pamela S. Bogoniewski and her husband Richard of Hamburg; 14 grandchildren, Rebecca and Benjamin Master, Jesseca, Joshua, and Jacob Smith, Emily, Patrick, and Nicholas Hannum, Tyler, Brandon, and Alex Bogoniewski, Sindel, Seth, and Kayla Strohecker; seven brothers, John Horney and his wife Elaine of Annville, Thomas Horney of Lebanon, William Horney of Lebanon, Richard Horney of Hughesville, Michael Horney of Lebanon, David Horney of Annville, and James Horney of Harrisburg; three sisters, Catherin Fair and her husband Marshal of Lancaster, Margaret Barney and her husband John of York, and Ann Cervo and her husband Michael of McKeesport; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 7-8:00PM Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30AM Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
