Suzanne Eleanor Gieringer Bodor

Suzanne Eleanor (Maberry) Gieringer Bodor, 69, died October 23, 2013 in her Shillington residence.

She was the wife of John Michael Bodor, Sr., whom she married October 7, 2007.

Born in West Reading, PA on December 17, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Nelson Maberry and Hatti (Reed) Maberry-Raker.

She was a 1961 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

Suzanne was employed as a secretary and a receptionist for a total of ten years with Chiyoda America, Inc., Morgantown.

She was later employed five years as a customer service representative with Soverign Bank in their Boyertown and Muhlenberg branches.

Suzanne attended Glad Tidings Church, Spring Township.

She was a member of the Oley Valley Womens Club and was a past treasurer of the Oley Valley Community Fair Association.

Suzanne is also survived two sons: Stephen T., husband of Susan A. (Blanchard) Gieringer of Oley and Robert N., husband of Nicole M. (Kunkel) Gieringer of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two step-children: John M. Jr., husband of Yani (Nieves) Bodor of Tampa, Florida and Rhonda Lee Bodor of Limerick, Montgomery County.

There are also nine grandchildren surviving: Zachary M. Gieringer, Chelesa M. Gieringer, Gabrielle J. Gieringer, Jacob A. Gieringer, Ethan N. Gieringer, Gabriel M. Bodor, Wesley O. Gieringer, Alessandra M. Bodor and Nicholas A. Bodor.

Suzanne was predeceased by a daughter, Stephanie S. Gieringer, who died in December 4, 1999.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 4:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until time of service in the funeral home.
