Suzann A. Gehret

Suzann Alice Gehret, 69, of 3417 River Road, Muhlenberg Township, died August 14th at 9:39 a.m. in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been for one day.

She was married April 8, 1950 to Barry Paul Gehret.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of Grace N. (Moyer) Steffey of Hamburg and the late M. Luther Steffey.

She was also the Secretary for the Berks Mineralogical Society for 15 years.

Gehret worked for a number of years as an assembler for Lamcor Tech in Hamburg.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan L. (Gehret) wife of Clint Kiscadden of Womelsdorf and a son, Barry P. Jr. husband of Diane (Doebling) Gehret of Bern Township.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Jared and two great grandchildren, William and Tylor.

Memorial services will be Monday August 19th at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Visitation Noon until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Greater Berks Food Bank, 1011 Tuckerton Court, Reading, Pa 19605.
