Susan Tarnofsky

Susan (Osetec) Tarnofsky, 65, of Womelsdorf, passed away March 2, 2017, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of Gerald Tarnofsky who passed away December 5, 2016. They married on August 31, 1980.

Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Bednarz) Osetec.

Susan was a devoted wife, a loving step-mother, aunt, and great aunt. She loved to cook, knit, and crochet.

She belonged to book clubs and the International Chapter of P.E.O. Sisterhood of Reading. She also had a love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Paisley.

She is survived by three siblings: Linda Kawiecki, Rockaway, NJ; Marc Osetec, Wood-ridge, NJ; and Kevin and wife Tracy Osetec, Ledgewood, NJ; and two step-sons: John and wife Mary Lynn Tarnofsky, Edison, NJ and Brian and wife Laura Tarnofsky, Clinton, NJ; one step-granddaughter, Ava Tarnofsky, Clinton, NJ.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Scott and wife Maryann Kawiecki, Kerri Kawiecki, and Brett and Samantha Osetec.

She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews: Roxann, Wyatt, Miranda, and Veronica; and her loyal dog Paisley.

Services will be Monday, March 6, 2017, at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA. Burial will follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
