Susan J. Rich

Susan Jane (Daywalt) Rich, 59, died October 12, 2011, in her Reading residence.

She was the wife of William L. Rich, who died in 1996.

Born August 13, 1952, in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Daywalt, Reading and the late William M. Daywalt.

Susan was employed as a zookeeper with the Elmwood Zoo, Norristown.

She was a former volunteer firefighter in Bridgeport.

Susan is survived by three children: Susan J. Rich, Jr., Reading; Rose M., wife of Rodney Hunsicker, Reading and Tammy L. Rich, Norristown. Also surviving are her best friends, Brenda S. Moore and Marlene Hunsicker; several nieces and nephews including her nephew, Mark Daywalt; a sister, Carol Spadacina and 12 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two siblings: William Daywalt and Alberta Trout.

Susan was a loving mother and grandmother.

Services will be held at a later date.
