Susan A. Murphy Mcguane

Susan Murphy McGuane, 56, passed April 15, 2017. Susan was born March 30, 1961 in Scranton, PA to parents John and the late Anne Murphy of Sinking Spring, PA. She met her husband Mark in 1983 during college at Kutztown University. They married October 24, 1987, and raised their daughters Kelsey, 25, and Allison, 22, which were Susan's true devotion, pride and joy. The family resides in the Tampa area after having homes in Wilmington, DE, Chadds Ford, PA, Somers, NY and Whippany, NJ. Susan is also survived by her father, John W. Murphy, her sister, Deborah Fisher and her brother, John Murphy III. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Murphy. Susan achieved great success with her design career that included the companies Chase, Saatchi & Saatchi, Delmarva Power, Bristol Myers Squibb and Bayer Healthcare.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA. 19608. A committal service will be held Monday, May 1, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, PA.
