Susan F. Marrero

Susan Fay (Nardo) Marrero, 64, died September 19, 2010 in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the wife of Gilberto Candelaria Marrero, Sr. whom she married November 24, 1962.

Born September 13, 1946 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Gladys D. (Zeeger) Nardo.

Susan was a member of Spring Valley Church of God, Muhlenberg Township.

Surviving are seven children: Melinda Diaz of Potnets, DE; Kimberly Marrero; Gilberto, Jr. and Deborah Marrero; Angelo and Beth Marrero; Bernard and Ruth Marrero; Samuel Marrero and Gabriella Marrero, all of Reading.

In addition, there is a brother, Douglas, husband of Linda Zeeger of Lebanon.

Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Muhlenberg Township. A viewing will be held tonight from 6-8 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale and an hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Aulenbach's Cemetery, Exeter Township.
