Mrs. Susan "Suzy" Markham Krall, born on October 9, 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Ethel "Tiny" Markham and the late Richard Markham, passed away at age 73 on July 16, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Susan graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Wilmington, DE in 1962 and the University of Delaware in 1966 with a Bachelors of Science in Home Economics. She then moved to Long Island, NY where she was a Home Economics teacher at South Ocean Middle School in Patchogue, NY until leaving in 1969 to become an employee of the Coats & Clark Co. in Manhattan. In 1979 she decided to continue her career as a freelance writer of sewing and crafts projects. Susan was the loving wife of George Krall (born in Reading, PA and attended Central Catholic High Scholl class of 1960). They resided in St. James, NY for 42 years before moving to New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her son, Daniel Krall of New Orleans, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Sharon Markham of Lakeland, FL; nephew, Rick Markham of Lakeland, FL; and sister-in-law Paulette Krall of Shillington, PA. She had many hobbies including crafts, sewing, and baking. Growing up in Wilmington, she was a member of Calvary-Hillcrest Episcopal Church. As a resident of St. James she had many volunteer jobs including working with United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island, Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County, and multiple positions at St James Episcopal Church. She also was on the board for Protestant Campus Ministry at Stony Brook University for 28 years, 18 of which she served as Secretary. In New Orleans, she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, which George still attends. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Susan's memory to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance,www.ocrfa.org. Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Friday, August 3 at 1pm at the Auditorium at Lambeth House, 150 Broadway Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70118. Edward J.
