Susan K. Kissinger

Susan K. Kissinger, 65, of West Reading, died June 30, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the former wife of John J. Kissinger.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William W. Dinkel.

Susan was a 1963 graduate of Hamburg High School and attended school in NY, studying French.

She worked in the ATM Processing department for Wells Fargo for 23 years, retiring in 2009. She established many friendships during her time at the bank and spoke of them often.

Susan loved traveling, especially New Orleans and visiting her daughter in NY. She was an avid reader, animal lover and spending time with her friends. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann M. Kissinger, with whom she resided; her "daughter", Amber Archambault; her sister-in-law, Dolly Lisa; her nieces and nephews: Kathy Archambault, Karen Martinez, Mark Lisa and Joseph Lisa. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Anna M. Kissinger and her close friends: Pam Phillips and Tammy Rank. Her beloved dog, McCaffrey, also survives her.

Susan was predeceased by her father-in-law, John Henry Kissinger.

A Memorial Service will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
