Susan J. Jacobs

Susan J. Jacobs, 56, Muhlenberg Township, died of natural causes Dec. 3 at 8:29 a.m. in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Raymond J. Jacobs.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Warren H. and Fern A. (Hepler) Bucks.

Jacobs had been employed as a licensed practical nurse by Leader Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Muhlenberg Township, last working in 1983.

She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Reading.

Jacobs was a 1966 graduate of Reading High School and received her nursing degree in 1968 from Reading-Muhlenberg Vocational-Technical School.

She is also survived by a son, Thomas A., Robesonia, and a daughter, Megan E. Jacobs, at home.

Other survivors include a brother, David W. Bucks, Exeter Township, and two grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Salem (Shalters) Cemetery, Alsace Township.
