Susan M. Engelman

Susan Mary Engelman, 52, went to be with the Lord June 21, 2008 in her Laureldale residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Wade Luther Engelman whom she married December 2, 2000.

Born March 7, 1956 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond R. and Frances (Soja) Lewandowski.

Susan was employed by Construction Fasteners, Wyomissing as a machine operator for 20 years. She then was employed by Oxydental Chemical, Pottstown and most recently by RAM Industries, Leesport, last working May 2.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Glenn Richard, Jr., husband of Teresa Lynn (Wolf) Heckman of Reading; Christopher Richard, husband of Karen Michelle (Davis) Heckman of Muhlenberg Township and Steve Richard Heckman of Pittsburgh; a step-son, Adam D. Engelman, at home and two grandsons, Glenn Richard Heckman, III and Dylan Robert Heckman.

There is a sister Patricia A. (Lewandowski) Dillman-Reitmeyer, wife of Roger Reitmeyer of Baytown, TX. Eight nieces and nephews also survive her.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday at 6 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
