Sue J. Carlen

Sue J. Carlen, 85 of Perry Township died September 29, 2017 in her residence. She was born in Solebury Township, PA. and was the daughter of the late Cornelius V. and Margaret A. (Havens) Ely. Sue was a 1950 graduate of New Hope High School and graduated from the University of Maryland. She was a medical technologist and worked for the Lansdale Medical Group as a lab supervisor for many years. Sue was an avid horsewoman and foxhunter. A daughter, R. Carol wife of Robert C. Lesnefsky, Perry Township and a sister Margaret Marian, West Chester, and several nieces and nephews survive her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 21 st at 12:00 noon from St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA. A visitation with the family will be held from 10:30 AM until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be private at a later date.
