Stuart T. Meck

Stuart T. Meck, 82 of Leesport died December 5th in St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Bern Township. He was the husband of Shirley L. (Kelly) Meck. Stuart was born in Hamburg and was the son of the late Alvin S. and Ida F. (Young) Meck. He worked for 22 years as an operating engineer for local 542, Philadelphia. He then owned and operated AAA Piano Movers along with his son Scott from 1985 until 2000. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of East Penn Jeepers, In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kris S. husband of Cynthia Meck of Northampton, Lori J. wife of John Yoder of Fleetwood, Scott A. husband of Stacy Meck of Mt. Penn, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Marlene Edwards of Orwigsburg. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
