Stratton Koumaras

Stratton Geroge Koumaras, 92, of Wyomissing, died April 1, 2007 in Mifflin Center.

His wife Helen (Mavrides) Koumaras died January 15, 2007.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Odagis) Koumaras.

Mr. Koumaras was a shoe salesman for Pomeroy's and later the Bon Ton for many years.

He was a member of SS Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading.

Survivors include one son, Dr. George S. Koumaras and his wife Carolyn, San Diego, CA and one daughter, Barbara (Koumaras) Futrick and her husband Mike, Reading. One brother, Michael husband of Anna Koumaras, Reading, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in SS Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 1001 East Wyomissing Blvd. Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
