Steve M. Baksic

Steve Matt Baksic, 90, of Reading, PA, died November 11, 2009 at 4:00am in the Golden Living Center, Exeter Township.

He was the husband of Dorothy Alice (Schwambach) Baksic, who died April 20, 1997.

Born in Bessemer, Michigan on April 15, 1919, he was a son of the late James and Katherine (Barkovich) Baksic.

He retired from the Military as a First Sergeant after 21 years of service. He served with the Army during WWII and Korea.

Steve was steelworker for 30 years with Bethlehem Steel Corporation before retiring in September of 1976.

He is survived by a son Steven J., husband of Kathleen R. (Theis) Baksic of Lower Alsace Township.

Other survivors include a grandson, Steven K., husband of Marla H. (Schnee) Baksic of Spring Township and three great grandchildren: Emily, Jared and Brittany.

There is also a sister Fay Yankosky, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was predeceased by five siblings.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
