Stephen Kuzma

Stephen Kuzma, 88, of Reading, past away January 4, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" (Love) Kuzma.

Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Jacob and Helen (Bojchuk) Kuzma.

He was a graduate of Wilson Boro High School in 1937 and Moravian College in 1942.

Stephen was employed for 25 years by Allied Chemical Company as a packaging and labeling manager retiring in 1982. He also worked as a salesman for Sears Department Store, Berkshire Mall 1995-2005.

He was the president of Stephen Kuzma Consulting Inc. during 1982-1999. Stephen was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran serving in WWII.

In addition to he wife he is survived by two sons, Stephen P. Kuzma, Washington, N.J.; Keith J., husband of Susan Kuzma, Prattville, Ala; three daughters, Lynn, wife of Charles Alleger, Washington, N.J.; Sheila, wife of Terry Lentz, Reading, and Susan, wife of Michael Shannon, Danvers, Mass, and a sister, Helen Rossi, Yardley.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Stephen was predeceased by a brother Joseph Kuzma.

Services will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday 10:00a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
