Stephen P. Egrie

Stephen P. Egrie, 61, of Rockland Township, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Irene M. (Martin) Egrie of Rockland Township and the late Stephen J. Egrie.

He was employed for many years by Pollock Scrap Metal in Reading.

Stephen was a member of the Rockland Twp. and Mertztown Rod and Gun Clubs, National Rifle Association, and the Blandon Fire Company. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride his motorcycle.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Kyle Walton of Kempton and one grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry M. Egrie, who passed away December 15, 2004.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 4 to 7 pm at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
