Stephanie M. Rivera

Stephanie M. Rivera, 22, Reading, died of natural causes April 5 at 9:30 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient four days.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of Edwin O. Rivera, Barranquilla, Puerto Rico, and Miosoty L. Sanchez, Wyomissing.

Rivera was last employed as a clerk by the Berks County Welfare Department, last working in June 2004.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Rivera was a member of the Spring Valley Church of God, Muhlenberg Township.

She is also survived by a son, James J. Sierra, Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a brother, Edwin O. Rivera, Philadelphia; and five sisters: Ada Rivera, Philadelphia; Zulma, Blanci and Miriam Rivera, all in Puerto Rico; and Cynthia M. Rivera, Wyomissing.

Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Charles Evans Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
