Stella Valeria Neuroth

Stella V. Neuroth, 98, formerly of Hyde Park, died February 5 at 9:30 a.m. in ManorCare, Laureldale where she had been since January of 2005.

Her husband Armand E. Neuroth died in 1981.

Born in Hyde Park, she was the daughter of the late Irvin E. and Valeria L. (Homan) Herb.

She was a graduate of West Reading Girls High School.

Neuroth was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Reading, where she was a life member of the Women's Guild. She was also a Sunday School Teacher and Choir Member for 65 years.

She was a member of the Order of the Amaranth, Reading Court #61, Golden Rule Chapter 390.

Survivors include one daughter, Janice N. (Neuroth) wife of Robert Sharetts, Wyomissing, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Grace Alsace United Church of Christ. Burial in Alsace Cemetery will be private. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call Saturday one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Alsace Church 2151 Kutztown Road Reading, PA 19605.
