Stella E. Ramsay

Stella E. (Frederick) Ramsay, 90, formerly of Temple, died of natural causes April 25th at 8:20 pm in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been since April 11th.

She was the widow of Lemar R. Ramsay, who died May 28, 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Jane (Transue) Frederick.

She was employed for a total of 24 years by the Maidencreek Hosiery Company and later by the Fleetwood Hosiery Company, retiring in 1957.

Ramsay is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. (Ramsay) wife of Harry H. Leitheiser of Alsace Township.

Other survivors include a granddaughter, M.J. Leitheiser of Fleetwood.

Services will be Monday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Laura Stoneback officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605.
