Stanton W. Madara

Stanton W. Madara, 59, formerly of Fernwood Street, passed away June 9, 2012, surrounded by his loving family and friends in his Muhlenberg township residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William A. and Grace L. Madara.

Stan worked for Prospectus Berco for 35 years where he made many fruitful friendships.

He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and listening to music. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his niece, Connie L., wife of Harold J. Kretz, III, Reading and his nephew, Jason M. Hill, Laureldale. Also surviving are his brother-in-law, Raymond Heffner; his great-nephews: Matthew A. Kretz and Jared C. Kretz and his great-niece, Baylee L. Kretz.

Stan was predeceased by a sister, Georgine J. Lord.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
