Stanley L. Stoudt

Stanley Lee Stoudt, 62, of Reading, died August 5, 2011 in Reading Hospital.

Born April 15, 1949 in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Beatrice L. (Dennison) Stoudt.

Stanley was a 1968 graduate of Reading High School and a 1973 graduate of Penn State University.

He was self-employed in industrial maintenance for over 30 years.

Stanley served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.

He was a member of both Pennsylvania Prison Society and New Person Center, Reading.

Surviving is a sister, Tammy Louise Stoudt of Birdsboro; a niece, Michelle L. Stoudt of State College; a nephew, Sean D., husband of Jennifer P. Stoudt of Fleetwood; a great nephew, Nicholas and three great nieces, Alexis, Ainsley and Shelby.

In addition, Stanley is survived by his aunt, Rose, wife of Vince Bean of Reading.

Services will be Tuesday, August 23 at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
