Stanley J. Hennessey

Stanley J. Hennessey, 89, formerly of Reading Avenue, West Wyomissing, died Nov. 21 at 11:52 a.m. in the emergency care unit at Reading Hospital.

He was taken to the hospital from Columbia Cottage, Spring Township.

His wife, Dorothy K. (Klemick) Hennessey, died Oct. 29, 1999.

Born in Ringtown, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Joseph and Angela (Hoynicki) Hennessey.

Hennessey was employed for 20 years as an annealer by Parish Structural Products Division of Dana Corp., retiring in 1975.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Hennessey was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Surviving is a son, Anthony J., Hillsborough, N.C.

Other survivors include a brother, Paul Nicolodi, and a sister, Laura (Hennessey) Carrol, both of Reading.

There are also two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
