Stanley S. Graczyk

Stanley S. Graczyk, 93, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023 in his Temple residence. He was the loving husband of Eleanore Mary (Michalak) Graczyk, with whom he shared 68 years before her passing in 2021.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Kochen) Graczyk. Stanley was a carpenter supervisor for Burkey Construction for 30 years. He and Eleanore retired to southwest Florida for 25 years, returning to Reading to be closer to their family several years ago. Stanley was a talented woodworker and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Stanley loved spending time with his family.

Stanley is survived by daughter, Deborah, wife of W. Lee Karycki, Blandon, PA; son, Mark, husband of Sandra (Drees), New Tripoli, PA; grandchildren: Adam, husband of Melody (Greenberg) Graczyk, Buffalo, NY; Jason Graczyk, New Tripoli, PA; Frances (Karycki), wife of Keith Much, Massillon, OH; Mary Karycki, Blandon, PA; and great-grandsons, Lucas Much and Rocco Graczyk.

He is also survived by brothers, Gerald (Mary) and James (Darlene); sisters, Patricia Shalter (late Harry) and Lynn; and sister-in-Law, Patricia. He was predeceased by brother Donald and nephew Jeremy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading 250 S. 12th Street Reading, PA 19602. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Reading.
