Stanley F. Puwalski

Stanley F. "Stas" Puwalski, age 95, died August 25, 2024 surrounded by family at The Highlands of Wyomissing where he was a resident since June 2012. He was the widower of Dolores G. (Kosnik) Puwalski who died on February 1, 1986.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Peter and Frances (Polek) Puwalski.

Stanley was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1947. He proudly served our country in the US Army. Stanley was a 1948 graduate of McCann School of Business and was employed by the Gilbert Commonwealth as a Technical Writer from 1951-1991.

A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of St. John Baptist De La Salle R.C. Church, Shillington, and was a member of the former St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Millmont. Stan was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and cherished time in Walt Disney World and Ocean City, NJ with his family. He loved being active with his fellow residents at The Highlands at Wyomissing.

Stanely was a loving Dad to his three daughters: Margaret Pizarro, Asheville, NC, Susan, wife of David Marsh, Phoenixville, and Maryann Cunningham, Palo Alto; Poppop to four grandchildren: Adam, Rachel, Rusty, and Kristen, wife of Richard and Great- Poppop to three grandsons: Devon, Eric, and baby boy due October 2024. Also surviving him is one sister, Ann Westley, Wyomissing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. John Baptist de La Salle R.C. Church, 42 Kerrick Road, Shillington. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. John Baptist De La Salle R.C. Church from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
