Stanley B. Czarnecki

Stanley Benedict Czarnecki, Sr., 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away April 17, 2009 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Manderwicz) Czarnecki.

Born December 24, 1930, in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley F. and Sophia (Lenart) Czarnecki.

Stanley was a plumber by trade, working for Vanity Fair until his retirement in 1995.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War.

Stanley was a member of St. John Baptist de LaSalle Roman Catholic Church.

He was also a member of the Adamstown VFW and the Kenhorst Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Mark A., companion of Sue Michel, Flying Hills, Stanley B. Jr., husband of Cindy (Hoffa), Denver, Christopher, Sinking Spring; a brother, Ronald, Mt. Penn and two grandchildren, Stanley B. III and Cari.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Gethsemane Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
