Sonia Anne Riegel

Sonia Anne (Contessa) Riegel, 80, of Exeter Township, died January 14, 2015 in the St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was the widow of Leon R. Riegel.

Born in Naples, Italy on October 31, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Gianna Contessa.

Sonia is survived by two sons: Ronnie R., husband of Jennifer Riegel of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Eddie, husband of Bonnie Riegel of Exeter Township.

There are also four grandchildren: Anthony, Nick, Kevin and Kelly Riegel and four great grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Kaylyn, Jaxson and Benjamin Riegel.

She was predeceased by a son, Nino Riegel and by two siblings: Nino Contessa and Diana Lockwood.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 19th at 11:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be private.
