Sol Tauber

Sol Tauber, 78, of Jefferson Terrace, Springfield, N.J., died Sept. 3 at 5:20 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township.

His wife, Pauline (Schwartz) Tauber, died Feb. 24.

Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Isadore and Charlotte (Hilsenrod) Tauber.

Tauber was the owner-operator of Sol Tauber Photography in Morristown, N.J., for 47 years, retiring in 1989.

He was a member of Sha-Arey Shalom Temple, Springfield.

Tauber was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a son, Ira S., Sinking Spring, and a daughter, Elisa S. Tauber, Tahoma, Calif.

Other survivors include a brother, Arthur, in Florida; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 4:45 p.m. in Menorah Chapels, Union, N.J. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of local arrangements.
