Shirley M Zeppos

Shirley M. Zeppos, 88, of Exeter Township, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, in the care of Promedica West Reading. She was the loving widow of George Zeppos who passed away in 2004.

Born in Lyons, PA, to the late Morris B. Angstadt and Mildred Batz, Shirley graduated from Reading High School in 1952. Shirley worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Medical Care Review Department and dedicated over 40 years of service to Community General Hospital of Reading.

She was a gentle and loving soul. Shirley had a large family; though she never had children herself, she treasured her nieces and nephews dearly.

Shirley is survived by her siblings: Mary Jane Kaiser, wife of Richard Kaiser (deceased), of Reading, PA; Joyce Weaver, wife of Marvin Weaver, of Orefield, PA; Douglas Warmkessel, husband of Dolores Warmkessel, of Riegelsville, PA; Llewellyn Warmkessel, husband of Nancy Warmkessel, of Bethlehem, PA; Wayne Warmkessel, of Slatington, PA; and her twenty-one nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings: brothers George Angstadt and Morris Angstadt; and sister Carrie Laible.

Services for Shirley will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560, with committal to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
