Shirley A. Steinly

Shirley A. Steinly, 57 of Upper Bern Township died April 25th in her home. She was the wife of Bernard "Bernie" P. Steinly. Shirley was born in West Reading and was the daughter of the late Irene M. (Heckman) Hoster. She worked as a press operator for 8 years at Reitnouer Inc., in Tuckerton. Shirley was a member of Friedens Church, Shartlesville. She was a very caring and wonderful person and had a big heart and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed working in her flower garden. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons: Richard L. Warunek, Pottsville, Jason B. Warunek, Reading, Michael J. Warunek, Temple and Travis P. Steinly, Mohrsville, 4 grandchildren: Alex, Bailey, Collin and Ian. She is also survived by 1 sister: Vernona "Sis" Saylor, Hamburg, 4 brothers: Larry and Dennis Heckman of Tilden Township, Henry Heckman, Reading and James Engle, Hamburg. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Terry Heckman and Lester Engle. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Friedens Church, 28 Wolf Creek Road, Shartlesville. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Hamburg and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
