Shirley P. Rucco

Shirley P. Rucco, 78, formerly of Flying Hills, died Dec. 29 at 2:20 p.m. in Reading Hospital.

She was taken to the hospital from Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville.

She was the wife of James Rucco.

Born in Sinking Spring, she was a daughter of the late Earl E. and Elsie L. (Weitzel) Yoder.

Rucco was employed for 21 years as an assistant vice president by the Bank of Pennsylvania, retiring Feb. 28, 1983.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Rucco was a 1944 graduate of Sinking Spring High School.

She is also survived by a son, Brian L., New York City; and a daughter, Beverly A. (Rucco) Hay, Mount Pocono, Monroe County.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J.
