Shirley M. Hoffman

Shirley Marian (Schantz) Hoffman, 84, of Wyomissing, died June 6, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Benjamin Llewellyn Hoffman who died in 1975.

Born March 24, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Rose (Gerber) Schantz.

Shirley was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed with C.D. Schneck's Oil, Spring Township.

Shirley was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Surviving is her daughter, Lyn R., wife of Stephen E. Swartz of Temple and her two grandchildren, Bradley S., husband of Barbara Ann Swartz and Jarrek T. Swartz of Temple.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.

Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
