Shirley A. Hettrick, 69, retired co-owner of a Temple bakery, died of natural causes March 5 at 12:43 p.m. in her Muhlenberg Township residence.
She was the wife of Ronald H. Hettrick.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Helen (Kolowrocki) Hill.
Hettrick and her husband co-owned and operated the Dutch Maid Bakery, Temple, from 1975 until her retirement in 1992.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.
Hettrick was a 1953 graduate of Reading High School.
She is also survived by a son, David R., Laureldale, and two daughters, Linda J. Hettrick, Flying Hills, and Beth A. (Hettrick) Wentzel, Reading.
Other survivors include a brother, Harry L. Hill, Reading, and four grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
